20 Message from our CEO Report Highlights About Franco-Nevada Responsible Capital Allocation Community Contributions Community Support Industry and Other Support Good Governance and Shareholder Alignment Diversity, Inclusion and Well-Being Climate Action Transparency and Guiding Principles About this ESG Report Appendices Reforestation Program and Community Improvement Initiative in Senegal We partnered with Endeavour Mining to support its involvement in and contribution to the Great Green Wall initiative in Senegal by participating in the reforestation of approximately 260 hectares in the municipality of Bélé and the development of an integrated community agricultural farm for the women of the village of Sarré in Senegal. Educational Initiative in Senegal We partnered with Endeavour Mining in its “Elites de Demain” educational assistance initiative in Senegal, which supports future leaders in mining-related fields in the communities surrounding Endeavour’s Sabodala-Massawa mining project by providing financial assistance to select students attending the Lycée Technique Industriel et Minier de Kédougou as well as other institutions offering university-level engineering programs. Educational Initiative in Yukon In 2023, as part of a five-year commitment, we sponsored Victoria Gold’s “Every Student, Every Day” initiative, which works with the community to raise awareness and funds to support increased student attendance throughout the Yukon.
